Salomon Project #1:

Part 1: The Background Research Stage (involves collecting information on the client, etc.)

Shown here is the cover of a 4" x 6" Salomon booklet which is not a pre-purchase brochure but rather a post-purchase booklet of instruction. The instructions help the buyer to custom- fit their skates, etc. I got it at Sporting Life, 2665 Yonge St.

I talked to the attendant there, and at Sportchek at Eaton Centre--both in person. Both said that it is the end of the season and therefore stock is low. I noticed that there were no "high end" ($600.00) skates on display-- only lower priced ones --all under $300.00.

I phoned Sportchek at 3401 Dufferin; and they said that they do not have any brochures--only warranty information.
The photo in the brocure shown here shows that the client, Salomon, wants to communicate "freedom in a beautiful setting."

The inside of the brochure is in 12 languages, but the front is in English. Posted by Picasa
