Salomon project #6:

This is another one of my " in action " photos of skates/skaters (which is also needed in addition to the photos of just the skates not being used).

It's at the Beaches boardwalk facing the clear blue lake. This candid shot was taken as I purposely positioned myself to acheive the photographic effect of

communicating the sense of freedom which can often be felt by skaters.

I started out with that purpose in mind (as indicated in my sketches in the last blog) and was fairly happy with the results.

Notice how the skater looks like she is about to take flight over the water and into the sky.

A possible slogan or caption which could accompany this photo could be "The Sky is the Limit with Salomon."

The overall theme of freedom and flight could be applied to the product tag which might open up like a bird's wings.

Here's a Great Marketing Idea on Waterfront residents:

This waterfront photo would appeal to wealthy waterfront residents--whether they live in Toronto's Beaches area or any other waterfront area in the world. Waterfronts around the world often have the cycle paths used by skaters. Those people who can afford to buy homes near beautiful urban waterfront areas of the world are also most likely to be able to afford the high end skates in our project. This is a target group.
